Canada Water, London

Weather's brilliant--the temperature's bordering 18 degree celsius and I'm absolutely loving it! Especially the endless light drizzles. No need to worry about perspiring or melting makeup. At least not yet. Definitely won't be the case when I'm in Barcelona and Rome next month though. Sean says it's just bad timing that my arrival's when London's at one of its gloomiest and I've got pictures to prove his point.

Took the Heathrow Connect from the airport to Paddington station, then made a transfer to the tube with Sean and his friend, Mitchell, as escorts. Wouldn't have made it out alive with my 25+10kg load. Thanks a million, guys. The apartment's a complete bachelor's pad. Throw 3 guys in a single apartment and voila-- you get a load of thrash and grime. So we headed out to Tesco's (cheap!) to get some groceries and essentials, then spent the rest of the evening till now cleaning up the kitchen and preparing an simple but awesome meal. End of the day-- everyone's human. We all buy groceries, we all make a mess, and we all make a living to pay for our bills and keep a decent roof over our heads regardless of continent or country.

one-footed duck we spotted along the way

the little "lake" near sean's apartment at Plough Way

just low-rise buildings and plenty of space on the sidewalks

dinner: a bowl of onion soup (tastes better than it looks i swear!), smoked salmon and mozzarella bread petites!

british berries <3

Nothing special today really, save for getting conned of 10 pounds after purchasing a pre-paid sim card from one of those vending machines at the airport, just to find out they're given out free of charge once you're outside of it. Can't wait to try the local kebab tomorrow!
