Amidst the hoarse throat, stuffy nose and swollen eyes, a birthday entry is still a mandatory part and parcel of maintaining a blog I should reckon. Given that it's my 21st, I decided to get myself a guitar. I admit the correlation between the two is difficult to grasp for most. Long story.

Presenting... my new Squire guitar. I've decided to name it Josephine. The name popped into my head while I was carrying her out from the shop... and it just stuck. Don't ask me why. Not much to boast about though, since it's only a mere beginner's guitar. But it's still the first guitar I've rightfully owned nonetheless (though Atee's guitar has taken residence at my place for more than 5 years heh, but still doesn't count!).

I spent the half-birthday (it's hard to feel like it's my actual 21st when I'm 7 hours behind real Singapore time) bingeing on Chinese food (yet again!) at the city centre with my newly made friends from China. It's been awesome fun having them around! We were even lucky enough to get 2 hours at the karaoke lounge on the house last night--probably sang our throats dry. Couldn't help ourselves especially when Jay Chou was playing back to back. :D Are you jealous, Herman?
